Hosted link
Send members to your own Doshi address. Nothing to build, and members sign in to Doshi directly.
The hosted link is Doshi on an address of its own, branded as yours. Link to it from your app, your emails or your website. There is nothing to install and no backend work.
What you build: nothing. You add a link.
1. Ask for your link
Section titled “1. Ask for your link”Email hello@doshi.app. We set up your client, and send you your client slug and your link.
2. Link to it
Section titled “2. Link to it”Your link is https://<slug>.doshi.app, where <slug> is your client slug. The hosted
link has no Test environment: every member who signs in through it is a
Live member.
<slug>.doshi.app is not live yet. Until it is, the link is
https://surface.doshi.app/?client=<slug>, and we send you the exact link. See
Environments.
Sign-in
Section titled “Sign-in”Members sign in to Doshi directly, with an email address and a password. This is the
direct sign-in. Your app does not vouch for them, so none of
How sign-in works applies.
If your members are already signed in to your app and should not sign in again, use the iframe, the SDK or a webview instead.
Your brand
Section titled “Your brand”The address carries your slug, and that is how the page knows it is yours: it shows your name, logo and colours before the member signs in.
If you run editions, add ?edition=<key> to brand the page as one
of them before sign-in, such as https://<slug>.doshi.app/?edition=nhs. A key you never
created shows your own brand. Once signed in, the member sees their own edition’s brand.
Framing
Section titled “Framing”A <slug>.doshi.app page refuses to load inside another page. The interim
link is different: surface.doshi.app is the iframe’s own address, so a
page on one of your allowed origins can frame it. Do not build on that, because the hosted link
moves to <slug>.doshi.app when that goes live. To show Doshi inside your own page, use
the iframe.
